Next100 policy entrepreneur Isabel Coronado presented on The Center for Law and Social Policy’s (CLASP’s) “Our Ground, Our Voices: Toward Economic Justice for Young Women of Color” panel to Congress. The panel sought to inform federal policymakers on the needs of young women of color. Isabel spoke about the barriers children face to seeing their parents who are incarcerated in federal prisons. She said:

“Strength and sisterhood, is what brings young women of color together because of the barriers we face.”
