Rosario Quiroz Villarreal Writes Op-Ed on Broadening the Narrative on DACA recipients

Next100 Policy Entrepreneur Rosario Quiroz Villarreal published in Education Post.

Next100 Policy Entrepreneur Rosario Quiroz Villarreal penned an op-ed for Education Post about the need to broaden the narrative on DACA recipients and engage educators in recognizing the impact of immigration policy in the classroom.

Rosario writes:

“Our students need advocates. They need champions. They need permanent solutions. So do their families. When we can take action to prepare to support our students and advocate for better policy solutions that do not unjustifiably target or criminalize their communities, we need to do so.”
